1824 woodcut of footpads ( robbers or thieves specialising in pedestrian victims) John Hartley & Thomas Reeves executed for robbing a Tailor near Harrow. The pair were indicted at the Old Bailey for accosting a journeyman tailor in the fields near Harrow and robbing him of two pence. They also stole his clothes and tied him to a tree before beating him up. They were executed at Tyburn on the 4th of May, 1722
