ALTUS, Okla. – Air Force Chief Master Sgt. James Dowell, 97th Mission Group superintendent, prepares to taste chili during the annual Cotton Pickin’ Chili Cook-off in Altus Oct. 5, 2013. The cook-off was held to bring members of the community together to celebrate the agricultural heritage of the City of Altus. The chili was judged by the aroma, color, consistency, taste and aftertaste.
