Newcastle Upon Tyne, 28th April 2016, UK Weather. The 76420ton autoliner ''Hoegh Tracer'' sails into the North Sea from the Nissan car terminal at the Port of Tyne on a showery day. Hoegh Tracer is a brand new ship and is the third in a series of six post panamax vessels under the new horizon design, the first two ships been Hoegh Target and Trigger. The vessel has a car and truck carrying capacity of vehicles and the hull has been optimized under the new horizon design for larger cargo's and lower fuel consumption as well as added wind resistance in heavy seas.
