Fukuyama Castle is sometimes called Hisamatsu Castle - or Iyo Castle was the castle of the Bingo-Fukuyama during the Edo period of Japanese history.


Fukuyama Castle is sometimes called Hisamatsu Castle - or Iyo Castle was the castle of the Bingo-Fukuyama during the Edo period of Japanese history. The castle is in Fukuyama Park in Fukuyama, Hiroshima and was the last one to be built during the Edo Period. It was destroyed during WWII and then rebuilt in ferro-concrete afterwards.
