A paper dragon on a side street in Ciqikou, a heritage town built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, an hour's drive outside of Chingqing. Meaning "Place of porcelain harbor", Ciqikou prospered from the porcelain trade. Although not a designated heritage site, the town is still largely intact, and experiences a flourishing tourist trade - mainly Chinese - who come to lunch and buy nicknacks.
