Faria & Bento is located in the historic village of Aljubarrota , which is very important for the Portuguese history and is part of one of the most important knowledge centers of ceramics in Portugal and in Europe – Alcobaça region. Here remains a strong ceramic tradition since the 14 th century, combining the know-how from the Cistér Monks and the Old Ceramic Factory of Juncal. This heritage is been carried from generation to generation, from the 14th century and still today this tradition is vivid in almost every family living in the area. Here one lives, breaths and dreams with the art and knowledge of artistic ceramic. To work at Faria & Bento means much more than having great talent. It is necessary to believe that anyone of us can make the difference in best serving our customers while keeping the strict principle of business ethics.
