East-West / West-East is an art installation created by sculptor Richard Serra in the Qatar desert. It was commissioned by Qatar Museums Authority and unveiled by Sheikha al-Mayassa Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, a sister of the Emir of Qatar, in 2014. The installation consists of four large steel plates rolled in Germany, standing in formation spanning a kilometer across the Zekreet peninsula in the Brouq nature reserve.
