Soldiers with the 2nd Battalion, 151st Security and Support Aviation Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard, along with civilian first responders, conducted Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team quarterly training Sept. 7-10, 2016 in order to increase day and nighttime mountain aerial rescue proficiency. The training included academics and practical topics pertinent to day and nighttime mountain rescue techniques, survival techniques, equipment use and environmental concerns with appropriate equipment setup and testing.
