A helmet for general officers, of the Royal Saxon Army Leather body with gilt mountings, tall fluted spike. A silver, partly enamelled star with a small chip in the medallion ring set on the gilded star emblem. Convex gilt metal chinscales. Saxon style cockade. Yellow silk lining. It comes with the protective case. Cracks in the lacquer due to age, and an old pair of holes in the area of the emblem (helmet upgraded upon promotion).
