Henri Gaudichon - Tower Clock manufacturer in Morez (France) - Louis-Delphin Odobey Cadet - 1890
Louis-Delphin Odobey [1827 - 1906], sometimes also called Delphin Odobey, created in 1858 in Morez (Jura) what would become one of the most important architectural watchmaking houses in France. The company was then taken over by three of his sons, Victor, called Émile, Jules and Albert. He remained alone before handing it over to his son Georges who had to stop the company in 1964. Furthermore, in 1880, Louis-Delphin's eldest son, Paul, also created his building clock business. Odobey clocks are installed throughout France. With the Prost (Paget), Cretin-L'Ange and Bailly-Comte factories, we have here the majority of Morezian production of building clocks. These clocks are technically remarkable in terms of their design and execution - 1890
