An avian veterinarian giving vitamins to a dehydrated is not just humans who suffer the consequences of smog but birds too. Some common problems are irritation in eyes, cough and fever. The doctors at Charity Bird Hospital (run by Sunil Jain) treat (free of charge) injured and sick birds admitted across the city. They set these birds free post-treatment after the birds have regained their health.
