Among his more recent work, the medalstruck for the Dog Show held at the Hunt-ing and Shooting Exhibition last year is a finespecimen. The subject is the time-worn thoughever new one—Diana, the immortal huntress, withthe hounds ; but it is one which peculiarly lendsitself to the conceptive fancy of the imaginativeartist. The Schubert Medal was commissionedby the Schubertbund and shows us the artist inanother mood. It is poetic in conception andgives us a delicate picture of that most modest of. y
