Onshore windfarm of 40 turbines producing electricity to supply the average needs over half of all the homes across the Scottish Highlands. Opened 2006. The generation of this clean electricity will help prevent an annual release of many tonnes of the main greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide, which is a major contibutor to global warming and climate change. Site does not pose any major negative environmental impact on landscape and visual effects or to archeology and birds
