An early 20th century view of the harbour in Dunmore East, a popular tourist and fishing village in County Waterford, Ireland. Situated on the west side of Waterford Harbour on Ireland's southeastern coast, it lies within the barony of Gaultier (Gáll Tír – "foreigners' land" in Irish), a reference to the influx of Viking and Norman settlers in the area.

In the interests of transparency (no pun intended) this Photo Chrome image was shot around 1900. The original image has been cleaned, sharpened and enhanced. The sky was bleached out so a new sky has been introduced.
