Church on the Mount of in 1938 ,with the aid of Benito Mussolini in accordance with the Lateran Treaty between the Vatican and the State of is a focal point for Christian pilgrimage and tourism to by Popes on more than one occasion. Purported to be the site of the Sermon On the Mount . the Franciscan church on the site also cares for the Hospice ,The Church itself is a beautiful example of fine Italian architecture in keeping with the Sanctity of the site. Pilgrims attend Mass here on a regular basis and is central to the itinerary of most visitors to the Galilee.
