The West side of this denudation of the Hutton seamcannot be so accurately defined; its outline being as yet confined to theexplorings of Framwellgate Colliery, where the Hutton seam is denudedin the line marked on the surface plan at a depth of 37 fathoms or 222feet, the further depth (42 fathoms) to the Busty seam, which is also herebeing explored,
