BLACK SEA (Oct. 23, 2014) - The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) conducts a bilateral underway engagement with the 6th Fleet command and control ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) and the Romanian navy frigate Regele Ferdinand (F-221). Mount Whitney is conducting naval operations with allies and partners in the 6th Fleet area of operations in order to advance security and stability in Europe.
