The massive Kingsbridge Armory in Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx in New York is seen behind the IRT elevated train on Saturday. March 2, 2013. The massive armory, empty for over 10 years, is controlled by the NYC Economic Development Corp which received it from the NYS National Guard. The 575,000-square foot building, formerly the Eighth Regiment Armory, a city landmark, has been the subject of various disputes over proposals for its future use with the current proposal awaiting Uniform Land Use Review.
