The San Xavier del Bac Mission on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation near Tucson, Arizona is captured on a warm spring day. Nicknamed the "White Dove of the Desert," the mission has had a presence in this desert location since 1692; however, the buildings pictured here were completed in 1797.
