The Congregationalists did not enterthe Territory until 1882, when Rev. D. A. Leonard, Super-intendent of Congregational Missions in Utah, and Super-intendent Simmons of Dakota, both entered about the sametime. The Baptists came to Montana to stay and organize theirwork about the same time as the Congregationalists. Theyhave sent some excellent men to this field. The second annual meeting of the Presbytery of Montanawas held in Bozeman, in February, 1873. Messrs. Critten-den, Frackleton, Rommel and Russel were the ministerspresent. Eld
