It is of uniform dwarf habit, never exceeding 3 feet in height, with broad, massive dark green leaves; an early and con- tinuous bloomer, throwing its graceful trusses of large bold flowers just the proper distance above the foliage ; color rich dazzling crimson, similar to that old favorite, Alphonse Bouvier. 75 cts. each. J. D. Eisele. A magnificent vermilion scarlet overlaid with orange, raised by one of Europe's foremost Canna specialists, and named in honor of our Nursery Manager. It is a strong free grower, attaining a height of 3^ feet, and is without question the finest scarlet yet ofl'ered. 75 cts. each. Menelek. This is the best of M. Crozy's intro- ductions for this season, and one of the most floriferous varieties known to us. It is of dwarf compact habit, about 3^ feet high, very uniform, with heavy rich green foliage. Its flowers are of good size, with broad petals ; are of a rich nasturtium red, a color which shows well in contrast with other shades. 75 cts. each. Furst von Holienlobe. An ideal yellow bedding Canna. Its flowers are of fair size, the upper petals of purest yellow, the lower one slightly marked with crimson. Its strong points are its great florifer- ousneps, neat compact habit, large .sjiikes of flowers, and the fact that at the distance of only a few feet it appears as a pure yellow.
