Thomas Stokes above was born in London,England, in December, 1/65, and removedto New York in the Spring of 179S, wherehe died loth October, 1832. He was married to Elizabeth Ann Boulter,third daughter of James Boulter, Esq., ofLowestoff, England, by whom he had twelvechildren. His son James Stokes, Esq., of New York,was married by Rev.
