A miquelet-lock shotgun, Ripoll, circa 1790. Two-stage barrel, octagonal, then round after a cut acanthus frieze, with smooth bore in 16 mm calibre. 'Spider' front sight. Over the breech silver-inlaid vine decoration and two gold-filled marks, one inscribed "Angelats". Engraved miquelet-lock, the lock plate inscribed "" Walnut full stock with painted figure. Silver escutcheon, engraved brass furniture. The butt plate bears an applied silver warrior. Three brass barrel bands. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
