The roots par-ticularly susceptible to this sort of distortion are : (1) Up-per bicuspids (2) Lower molars (3) Mesio-buccal rootsof upper molars. Where the electric test can be applied satisfactorily anda positive reaction is obtained, the appearance of rootroughness due to angle cannot be mistaken for absorptionof the root.
