Southend on Sea, Essex, UK. 31st Dec, 2020. The last day of 2020 has dawned cold and frosty with sub-zero temperatures. Despite being in COVID 19 Tier 4 the town has been very popular, with visitors crowding on the seafront promenades. To counter this the council have announced that they will be closing the seafront car parks and have pleaded with people to stay away.
