On further examination, the upper jaw was foundto be involved in the disease, aud accordingly it was removed, leavingthe molar bone and floor of the orbit intact; the nasal process of the leftside was removed entire, and an incision was made from the angle ofthe mouth to the first incision, and the flap turned up to expose theparts; the flaps were neatly dressed and retained in their places by a.
