YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 24, 2017) Master-at-Arms 1st Class Brandon Dacosta, assigned to Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, works as a volunteer for the American Red Cross by teaching kids how to properly wash their hands during an event for the Month of the Military Child. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
