One sent to Sowerby and described by him in 1898; he himself seems to have extracted the radula and passed the animal (thus mutilated) on * Pace ()oc. cit., p. 21 and p. 25 footnote 2) records that the British Museum secured a spirit specimen (reg. no. 1901: ) in 1901, which he dissected.
