They are angled for with the same sort of tackle as is used in Roach-fishing: indeed, where you find Roach in rivers, you will fre- quently tak^ Dace; but they are more likely to be met with, and also the largest, when you are angling for Barbel or Chub, and baiting with greaves or a.
