Morning rains and cooler weather didn't deter hardy Texans from viewing the annual Children Giving to Children parade in downtown Austin where children bring toys for holiday distribution to needy families. Founded 27 years ago by a local Mexican restaurant, the event has collected thousands of toys for needy children.
