The Florists'Review 71. CURRENT TOPICS My Original Silver Fink Snapdragon has been sold and exhibited in all of the leading markets, but not at any recent show. Show prizes on snapdragons have but little value at present. There are no rules governing the judging, and a tail-end variety in one show can easily be a winner in another show. This fact has and will keep out exhibitors, as noted in the recent shows where only two or three entries were made. SIL- VER PINK is not only the better of two varieties but of all of the varieties to date. Its beautiful color and splen- did habit of growth stands pre-emi- nently alone. There is no other variety that approaches it, and now that it will reproduce in color and habit from seed with only a few pleasing sports, it can be extensively grown at small cost. We have customers that got as many as 900 plants from one packet of seed, which reduces the cost to a minimum. Many varieties of snapdragon now ' 'I offered show side growth near the course, this can be removed at the expense of a bare stem. Silver Pink MARKETED IN FOLL DRESS Side growth gracefully tapers from one inch at the flower to three and four inches at base of stem, which adds sufficient green for a well finished bouquet. Buy Silver Pink and have all that is good in snapdragons. Silver Pink is now growing in a number of foreign countries, carried there by its record and influence, which are safe, sane leaders. A good article is always imitated even to the use of its name. But the beautiful light, silvery shade of pink alone will hold Silver Pink in position.
