underwater near Fort Jefferson FL Gulf of Mexico
70 miles west of Key West Florida there is a place that is out of this world. The Dry Tortuga's National Park has a large fort built in 1846 after American leaders realized that fortifying the Tortuga's was an essential step in controlling navigation in the gulf of Mexico. The underwater shots were taken near the fort's outer walls.
