SALE OF A COW The hearing was concluded at the Wigton(Cumberland) County Court on Monday last(April 7) which raised important points relatingto the auction mart sale of dairy cows. HopesAuction Company, Ltd., Wigton, sued IsaacGardhouse, farmer, Little Orton, Carlisle, for therecovery of £23 17s. 3d. balance of the purchaseprice of a newly-calved cow bought by defendantat their mart on July 23 last.
