The drawing of this specimen hasalready been jjublished without acknowledgmentof its source. addition to its observed rotation on its horizontal axis, and its hitherto describedchanges in form, that the relation of the transverse processes to the spinous processis much changed—the transverse and spinous process on the concave side have become approximated, say, in the lumbar vertebia, half an inch, and sometimes upwardsof half an inch, the space between the Spinous and transverse processes being muchnarrowed in the hollow side, with corresponding increased space between them onthe protuberant side. This is well shown in a specimen of lumbar scoliosis obtainedby Mr. L. S. Little, models of which were deposited by him at the London, and theNational Orthopaedic, Hospitals. The above drawings
