Livistona eastonii (Mitchell Plateau Fan Palm) is endemic to the remote Mitchell Plateau (Ngauwudu) in the far north of the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Kalumburu Road links the area to the Gibb River Road and traverses tropical savannah before climbing onto the plateau.
