A number of small boats are moored, stranded until the tide comes in, on the River Ffraw Estuary at Aberffraw. The sandy river channel runs down one side of the extensive sand dunes for which Aberffraw is famed. The snowcapped mountains in the background are that of the Snowdonian range.
