Y., onSeptember 19, 1864; son ofBernard and Anna Mooney. James Francis Mooney is Pres-ident of Seton Hall College; andunder his administration theCollege has attained a successunprecedented in its number of students has beendoubled; many endowmentshave been received; and newdormitories, of the value of twohmidred thousand dollars, havebeen added to the builduigs. Dr. Mooney studied at College, Brooklyn, un-til 1881, entered the Sophomoreclass of Seton Hall College inthe latter year and was grad-uated from Seton Hall with theclass of 1884.
