(See description p. 9.) Bridesmaid. Bridesmaid. An exquisite, new pink Rose that is be- ing grown in larger quantities for Winter flowers than any other pink variety. Color, a bright, clear pink ; a lovely shade ; flowers very large, perfectly double. The buds are large and solid, with long, stiff stems and hand- some glossy foliage. It has all the good qualities of a first-class Winter blooming Rose, a strong, healthy growth, free from disease ; is easily grown and produces very freely buds of the largest size, of a color that can be used to advantage on all occasions. It is also an excellent bed- ding variety for outside flowering in Summer. (See cut.) Papa CrOlltier. A magnificent red Tea. It is a strong grower, with fine, healthy foliage ; the buds are large and long, with thick, broad petals of a dark car- mine crimson color, changing to a lighter shade in the open flower. An excellent Winter blooming variety, and one of the best for out-door planting, opening up its flow- ers in beautiful shape. Comtesse de La Bartlie. This Rose combines ex- quisite perfume, beautiful coloring, and a matchless proportion of flowers and foliage. Its coloring is a soft, light rose, with heavy shadings of amber and salmon. Quite hardy, and in every respect admirable. Marie Lambert. Pure white; vigorous. Has been called the White Hermosa, as it resembles the Hermosa.
