Portrait of an old man, Jan Lievens, 1632 - 1635 print On two other prints of this portrait there is a name of this old man in a handwritten note, according to one of these inscriptions an 112-year-old Englishman. However, the Notitites mention two different names, Robert South of Charles Digby, of unknown people. Because in both cases it is an Englishman, the ETS can in any case be placed in England during Lievens period. paper etching / engraving old man
