Flat bouquets of flame-colored dahlias made a great hit at a suburban wedding recently. The bridesmaids who carried these bouquets wore flame-colored gowns and brown hats. Chrysanthemum Tints of Gold appears to be more extensively grown this sea- son. George'Bidden and Elwood R. Siter, growers of Orville, Pa., have dissolved partnership. The business is being con- tinued by Elwood R. Siter. Mr. Siter expects to ship 30,000 chrysanthemums to the Philadelphia Cut Flower Co. this fall, to be followed by a fine strain of sweat peas. Mr. Siter has the hearty good wishes of his friends for success. T. Neilson Geiger has returned from Toronto. The Andorra Nurseries enclose an aeroplane view of their places in the fall catalogue. Leo Niessen says that all his com- pany's delivery cars were loaded and had left on their trip by 7:15 a. m. last Saturday morning. By 11 a. m. some of the cars were on their third trip of the day. Howard Royer, Stephen D. Green and Robert Cullom represented H. Bayers- dorfer & Co. at Toronto. Victor I. Bidenour decided at the last moment to attend the Toronto conven- tion.
