The front at Blackpool, Lancashire, 1894-1910. A view looking north along the sea front towards Blackpool Tower. The tower was built in 1891-1894 by Maxwell and Tuke. Crowds of holidaymakers can be seen on the promenade with a line of movable bathing machines parked on the slipway.
