THE only surviving restored Changi-Lynch gate from Changi Jail was built by prisoners of war after the fall of Singapore during WW11. It was re-erected at the entrance to the Far East prisoners of war grove at the National Memorial Arboretum is Britain's year-round national site of remembrance located at Alrewas near Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire, Britain.
