We continue our Illustrations of these pretty little landshells, of which all the species, as we before remarked, arenatives of the South Sea Islands, and very little known tocollectors. The present is distinguished by the thicknessof its spire, the apex being more suddenly pointed. Wehave represented two varieties in point of colour, but inboth the suture is scarcely, if at all, margined by anindented grove. ACHATINELLA livida,Livid Achatinella. Specific Character.
