The Historic Convict Brick Trail is a long single line of bricks along the long length of pavement on one side of the wide Midland Highway, the main street in Campbell town, Tasmania, Australia. The hundreds of bricks each gave the name of a convict; their age, when they arrived in Australia; the name of the ship they were transported on and the year of the ship's arrival; the convict’s crime and their sentence; together with a small piece of personal information. One in particular that makes the most distressing reading: Elizabeth Hayward, Age 13 years, Lady Penrhyn 1787, Stole Clothing, 7 Years, Youngest 1st Fleet Female
