In the centre ofeach goal line two upright posts shall be placed twelve feet apart, with a cross bar seven feet from the ground, which shall constitutethe goals. The ball is an ordinary cricket ball. The stick is curvedj^tone end and must be small enough to pass through a ring two inchesin diameter. There should be eleven men on each side, but it maybe played by six or seven. The men take their names from the posi-tion they play, viz.: three forwards, five rushes, two backs or guardsand one goal tend.
