WASHINGTON (Sept. 2, 2022) – Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday delivers the oath of office to Adm. Lisa Franchetti during the change of office ceremony for the Vice Chief of Naval Operations held at the Pentagon, Sept. 2. Franchetti was sworn in as the 42nd Vice Chief of Naval Operations when she assumed duties from Adm. William Lescher during the ceremony.
