As it gets six to eight feet high before blooming, a fine display appears when the flowers expand. They open early in June. It makes an excellent small sized tree, suitable for planting in small yards or cemetery lots ; the flowers make it particularly useful for this purpose. 2 ft. Trans $ 50 Stephanandra flexuosa.
