(More-head) Waid, was born May 1, 182(), in Riceville, CrawfordCo., Penn. He received a common school education, wasbrought up on a farm, and during life was engaged as atiller of the soil. He died June 17, 1880, deeply regret-ted by many friends and neighbors, and now sleeps hislast sleep in Blooming Valley Cemetery (see page 14).
