The majority of people will continue to be carried by the street andinterurban lines, notwithstanding the increased use of the automobile, pro-vided that up-to-date service and equipment are supplied. However, thesite will also prove a very convenient one for the 40 per cent of steam roadpassengers using automobiles. The streets radiate fan-like from the new plaza in front of the station,making the site accessible from all directions. Los Angeles Street isalready a wide street—especially at its northern end—and will provide aroute free from car lines, direct to the station from the business Boulevard will provide a convenient route to Pasadena, Hollywoodand
