Bone marrow transplant

I of stage 5 of a bone marrow transplant. Initially, the patient will be very tired, and risks infection. The patient is in a condition known as aplasia, a period where the immune system is extremely weak. The patient is placed in a sterile room alone. The graft will slowly colonise the body and bone marrow will reconstitute itself. After roughly four weeks, the receiver will come out of aplasia and can leave the hospital.
